M2 / NGC 7089

M 2 has a diameter of about 150 light years, consists of approximately 150,000 stars. At a distance of about 36 000 light-years, this star cluster is significantly behind the Galactic Center. He has an apparent brightness of 6.5 mag and a diameter of about 7 arc minutes.
